FAJ Lauds the Press Freedom Day Theme and Calls on Governments and the Judiciary to End Impunity on Crimes Against Journalists
The Federation of African Journalists (FAJ) lauds the theme of the UNESCO World Press Freedom Day in Ghana, and calls on Governments and the Judiciary to put an end to the impunity for crimes committed against journalists in their work.
Following a meeting on Friday 6 April 2018 in Casablanca Morocco, between representatives of the Steering Committee of the Federation of African Journalists (FAJ) and some of our colleagues from a few of our affiliates, convened by the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), it was resolved that: The next Congress of FAJ should be held either December 2018 or early 2019.
